About Brit Of A Laugh

Brit Of A Laugh is a small British gift brand with a big mouth.

It started the way most good ideas do: over a cuppa, with a daft joke that was too good not to put on a mug. One mug became a shelf of them, the shelf became an Etsy shop, and the Etsy shop is now this, our own front door.

What we make

Funny mugs, t-shirts, hoodies, posters, canvas prints, coasters, totes and notebooks. The themes are whatever Britain is talking about this week: The Traitors, Christmas, dogs with more personality than their owners, proud Brits, the office tea round and the odd sweary one for mates who can take it.

How it's made

Every design is written and drawn here in Britain. Nothing is scraped off the internet. Each order is then printed to order and dispatched to UK addresses, so there's no warehouse full of stock and nothing goes to landfill because it didn't sell. It also means your mug is made for you, not pulled off a pallet.

Why it matters

A good gift should get a laugh before it gets used. That's the whole brief. If a design doesn't make us snort into our tea, it doesn't go on the site.
